Annotation |
The dielectric tensor diagonal components for a metal nanowires of different metals has been calculated within the model of free electrons and cylindrical potential well. The smooth size dependence of the Fermi energy has been comparison with the results of the numerical calculations. The influence of the dimension of the systems on the frequency dependence of the dielectric tensor has been investigated. |
