Annotation

Microwave approximations for the tensor of the effective permeability of two-component metmaterial are obtained. The metamaterial is an isotropic homogenous dielectric medium with periodically imbedded infinite ferric cylindrical inclusions of an arbitrary cross section form. The cases of fully and partially magnetized inclusions under an external bias magnetic field are considered. The wave propagation in the direction of bias magnetic field and transverse to it is considered. The bounds of frequency ranges regarding the different modes of metamaterial is derived.
