Annotation This paper presents the results of the experimental investigations of the surface plasmon resonances and nonlinear refraction of water suspensions of gold nanoparticles coated with a polymer shell. The linear dependence of nonlinear refraction investigated for suspensions in a wide range of beam power density has been reported.
