Annotation In this paper, expression for the determination of the size-dependent Fermi energy of a metal nanocluster in the model of free electrons and spherical potential well of infinite depth is obtained. The calculations are performed for Al and Au clusters. The effect of the change of the system dimension on the evolution of size dependences is investigated.
