Annotation In the paper we analytically describe the formation of photocount statistics of non-polarized Gaussian optical radiation when there is a statistical link between the modes of polarization. Analytical expression for the generating function of photocounts was obtained. Distributions of a set of probability amplitudes for the cases of correlated and uncorrelated modes were calculated. It was shown, the statistical relationship between the modes of polarization leads to a broadening of the whole distribution of photocounts with the unchanged first moment.
