The results of studying the electronic conductivity of InxTl1 – xI solid solutions of substitution are presented. The effective mass and mobility of an electron have been determined with using the first-principle calculations of the band-energy structure. The investigation was carried out for InxTl1 – xI solid solutions of substitution with the concentrations 0.125, 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.625 of thallium. Dynamics of changes in the effective mass, mobility and conductivity as functions of the thallium content has been established. Peculiarities of the band-energy spectrum of defective structures (with anionic vacancies and cationic interstitials) have been investigated. Shapes of the conductivity spectrum and its transformation under the influence of defective formations have been studied. |
