Annotation The use of hydrothermal treatment of amorphous material obtained by hydrolysis of titanium tetra-butoxide provides a nanostructured mixture of anatase and brookite – photocatalytic active phases of titanium dioxide, which are characterized by resistance to temperature phase transition in rutile if particle size is about 4 nm and value of the specific surface area is 175 m2/g.
