Annotation Anisotropic plane-parallel structure (both homogeneous and stratified) with the direction of the anisotropy axis along the interfaces under tangential propagation of the incident wave is considered. The possibility of wave transmission through a plate (the penetration effect) was analytically shown for the given particular case. Expressions for the wave-vector in anisotropic medium, field components, Poynting vector components were written and analyzed. It is shown that the structure has nonreciprocal properties.
